Spoke to their reservation dept and she advised me of the following:
36 flr - only has presidential suite, unavailable as there is a long term guest using this
34/35 flrs - suites only - under tight revenue control and no upgrades for diamonds. She did say diamond on non-rev stay can upgrade to diplomat suite for HKGD6000/night.
33 flr - highest available club level floor
You can't even get into the 36th floor without a special key. There is another Presidential Suite on the 35th floor. Just stayed in an Ambassador Suite, part using regular points (18,000 points per night), part using the special web-only rate (2100 HKD per night). So it can be done. Just stay there many, many, many times and stuff like that will happen.
