Advice on end of the year diamond re-up strategy

Hi All-

A bit of background. I've been a Hilton Diamond for eons and 2009 was my first year of Hyatt Diamond (via status match). Due to the economy, I had figured that I was going to have a real down travel year, so I split my stays between the two chains, with a few SPG nights to take advantage of the free weekends.

Well, it turns out, my travel picked up more than I thought, and now I am looking at a bunch of trips between now and the end of the year.

Here's the dilema - I can spend the rest of the year in Hiltons and guarantee to re-up my HHonors diamond or I can stay the rest of the year in Hyatt's, but not make enough stays to re-up Hyatt Diamond. I am for sure good at gold/plat for both programs.

For a enjoyment of my stays, I'd MUCH rather spend it in Hyatt's and that's where I am leaning, particularly with the MC promotion, and hopefully FFN's coming up.

Does the FT community have any good ideas on how I may be able to improve my chances of having GP re-up my diamond with less than the required stays (I will probably land right around 20 stays for 2009)? The fast track 15 nights in 120days isn't going to work for me as almost all my stays are single nights and I don't think I will have 15 stays by the end of the year.
