I had booked a round trip from JFK to Gatwick but the non-stop JFK-LGW service has been withdrawn and now I will be flying to and from LHR. As I will be flying to and from Dubrovnik from Gatwick, I now have to change my plans to include transfers between LHR and LGW. This not only adds to the expense of my trip, but prolongs my travel time by several hours each way and this is a bit trying for a woman in her 70's. Does anyone know if there any sort of compensation available for the consequences of such a schedule change?
