Ditto on the Courthouse RI. It's brand new and very close to the Courthouse Metro Stop (Orange Line). This makes for an easy trip to the Smithsonians downtown.

I stayed at the RI in Rosslyn back in 2002. It was nice then but is further from the metro than the Courthouse RI.
