I think the subject says it all - I am scheduled to fly with my wife on United from Boston to Chicago on Friday Sept 4, returning Monday Sept 7. I just found out that I will already be in the Chicago area the week before. So, my question is, can I skip the outgoing flight from Boston and still be OK to fly back on Sunday? I know this is a common question, but I haven't seen it addressed when the itinerary features two people, one of whom will complete the full itinerary. Thanks for your help!
