Diffference of opinion. Yes the JFK bubbles in non vintage - but it is mainly the wannabes (aka z list 'celebs'), once a year leisure pax (and previosuly 'baby banker' on buy J, get F one way deals) that drink that. Rarely do I see regulars on that - it does n't mix well with ambien/melatonin/your sleeping aid of choice.

However, when it comes to staff, from the special servcies team, to the wonderful caribbean-sounding lady who does the 178 announcements on Mondays, thorough to wait staff, as well as food, comfort and cleanliness, the JFK CCR is leagues ahead of LHR.

One more example (above and beyond how many miles you earn): How many BA stations have you seen the staff greet 'regulars' by name, on sight, without checking the boarding cards or the booked pax list? Good 5 star hotels do that and so do JFK BA staff. V impressive.
