B747-437B, what was your methodology here? I'm having a tough time imagining how this would be do-able at a major airport--seems like you'd just have to park yourself in the check-in zone and slog through a ton of booking engine searches while you're sitting there, in order to find the cheap needle in the haystack of dozens of upcoming flights. And in my home airport it's kind of impossible, because there is no single check-in zone--each of the 7 terminals has its own screens.
