AC*SE you summed it up well. Health benefits, life insurance coverage and pass policies are consistent for each employee. Pensions are negotiaged union packages but do not vary by much.
Sick benefits is the area where you will find different policies and formulas due to the wide scope of working hours per month in various employee groups. Example: fa's apply through a benefits administrator appointed by the union to distribute benefits after a fourteen day waiting period. Prior to the fourteen days, coverage is given from a "sick bank" provided the fa has the hours built up in it. Presently 6 hours are accredited to this sick bank per month and the hours are deducted for actual flight time missed or at four hours per day if the fa is sitting on reserve. Very soon this system will be converted to AC's formula which is different. Office employees have regular sick days per year (not sure how many) with no waiting period or sick bank.
