To be fair to the poster here, the subject line of the post was asking about what Champagne is served in JFK lounges... it's been awhile since I've been there, but I remember last time I was in the CCR I was shocked that all the wines and Champagnes were quite low-end compared both to onboard selection, and of course when compared to LHR CCR/GF.

Champagne was a non-vintage, maybe Pommery caliber or some such - certainly nothing special. Perhaps my experience was a one-off or two-off... and on the other hand, my overall experience in the CCR at JFK has always been a positive one (personalised service, never crowded, always a step up from Terraces First or other First lounges in terms of soft experience).
