There is also a smoking lounge in the main SkyClub at the center of Concourse A. There is one on C concourse as well but that will be out of your way. Smoking is allowed in the Fox Sports bar, but it will require a beverage/food purchase.

DTW is probably the easiest airport to make connections in America. There are people movers everywhere and an indoor tram that can get you within a 5 min walk of any of the gates on A. I know since I have trouble walking. ATL and MSP are okay for me 'cause of the carts... but I don't need 'em in DTW
