I did get a standby for the upgrade list, but since it didn't clear 5 days out, I figured it was going to be hard to get the upgrade at the gate. I have over 200k MQM and will be a DM next year. Does anyone know if that is effective now, or won't be until after January? I noticed that on my flight back from SFO for the past few weeks that I've been much closer to getting an upgrade than I used to be since there are so many PM's in SFO, and I wondered if it was because my status has changed.

I'm still taking the SFO-ATL flight back on Thursday because the DTW to CAK connection has a four hour layover, but if DTW works out better I might try it sometime.
