I would like to know the answer to this as well regarding the Reno Hilton. It is my recollection from previous threads that the Reno Hilton refused to automatically grant the points on the $29 stays, but that the Hilton service center always granted them once the receipt was faxed in. I am hoping that nothing has changed. I thought that the rules for getting points for a stay now were that the stay had to be booked either 1) by Hilton's website or call center; 2) by a human at a traditional travel agency or corporate travel planner; or, 3) directly with the hotel in question. Since Parkplace owns the Reno Hilton, one could certainly construe "directly with the hotel" to include reservations made via the hotel's owner's own website.
