Just a general question, and pls forgive if offtopic, just delete it.
In this thread it was stated, that LH makes a margin on invoicing *A airlines for their status customer's access to LH lounges.

Some years ago I read a report on the inner workings of *A and it mentioned that lounge access is being bartered.

Means Thai has 1000 pax accessing LH lounges and LH has 1500 pax accessing Thai lounges, LH only has to pay for the excess in 500 pax.

I do not know whether this was or still is accurate.

Is there some newer info on how that works?
