I was surprised when I walked into the Holideck lounge yesterday and was told that we no longer used that lounge and was redirected to the new ST lounge. The CO rep that checked me in did not mention this and the lounge pass still give directions to the Holideck.

When I walked into the ST lounge I was very impressed and it still had that "new lounge smell" too! This lounge stacks up to the best of them (except for Virgin's at LHR, of course) and it will be nice not to have to rush through b'fast at the hotel anymore before heading to the airport.

I am a little miffed that I might have been stuck in that lousy Holideck lounge during my last one or two trips, without knowing that the ST lounge was open.

When the concierge came through the cabin doing his pre-flight session, I commented about the significant improvement and asked what would happen once CO moves to *A. He said that were quite pleaseed to recently ink a deal to keep access to the ST lounge while they are at T4, though the plan was to eventually move to another terminal.
