At Le Parker Now
I actually just checked-in to the hotel this morning. Arrived at 10:30a and was helped by a very friendly woman at the front desk. Despite the early hour, I was offered choice of city view jr. suite or standard, high-floor park view room. After unsuccessfully trying to talk my way into a park view suite, I took the standard park view room.
Doing some work at the desk in my room now. Great view of central park; clean, standard NYC-sized room. Would like to see a wall-based flat screen instead of the huge entertainment unit that's in the room now but otherwise no complaints. Haven't tested the hardness of the bed yet though.
While not the best option in NYC by any means, I don't see any reason not to stay here again for the right price.
