Welcome to FlyerTalk!!
Does the 105 minutes include immigration and customs? If so, it will depend on your nationality and residency, but it will be a bit tight. I don't believe that AS has any of their own metal operating into JFK; I think that all their flights are code-share operated by AA. That puts you in T8/9 for your departure. You'll need to arrive, deplane, clear immigration, collect your bags, clear customs and then get over to T8/9 via the AirTrain and re-check your bags, all quickly enough to make the cutoff that AA has. If it definitely going to be tight.
It turns out that 105 minutes is the minimum permissible connection for international to domestic at JFK so it is legal, but it will definitely be tight.
Is it all on one ticket or is it two separate tickets?
