Although I am in Skypass I wanted FB miles on this occasion. The KE person with whom I booked the ticket did warn me that I probably would not be able to find my flight on the website, because without a Skypass number allocated to it, and an FB number allocated, there appears to be some problem. I am just repeating what I was told.

Although it is with a Skyteam partner, I cannot access the flight details via KLM/FB, as KE have not given me an alhpanumeric code of the sort the KLM/FB system expects. This also applies to CheckMyTrip.

I shall try logging in to Skypass and using the KE booking reference. Succes or failure will be reported shortly

OK - failure. The KE person was correct.

'You may conveniently retrieve and print your Korean Air International e-ticket Itinerary & Receipt. To use this service, your SKYPASS number must be entered in the e-ticket. There are no international e-ticket records under your SKYPASS number.'

I tried this after trying to access the flight details via the automatic finder on the site.

Not to worry. I found the KE people to be very helpful, and they were truthful and accurate about accessing the flight online.

Thanks again for the comments.
Hi Brian,

As I mentioned above, the alphanumeric code you are talking about which AF, KL, and most other airlines use is an Amadeus reference, but KE do not use Amadeus but their own system (some other airlines use Sabre, and another one I can't remember) so you can't check details on check my trip (which is the amadeus website). KE will have given you, however, a number only code of 7 digits which will enable any KE agent to retrieve your booking if you speak to them on the phone or go to a ticket desk. As you said, you can also get it on the net if you have a Skypass number (rather than FB) entered only. Was there any particular reason why you wanted to see the booking online? Cheers,
