I used the CDP you're talking about. The guy who posted it said it's for friends/family of employees of that company and is good on personal travel. I booked with that CDP and called to have my Gold service added - asked the agent and she said as far as she knows, there is no ID/info needed at the counter, but I'm Gold so I didn't worry about it.
Turns out I caught a slightly earlier flight so my name wasn't on the board when I got there. Had to go to the counter three times for various reasons (see other thread) and the counter reps couldn't have been nicer. Absolutely no problem with that CDP. YMMV of course but according to what the poster of the CDP said, it's good for personal travel but you are assuming some risk.
They let me choose from any car on the lot and I ended up with an Explorer even though I booked a C. Kudos to the folks at LIH!
