Dear FT community,

As I understood from the master thread as a Plat member I will receive "sometimes" an upgrade.

I recently became Plat and have already made two stays at two different Holiday Inns on 2-4-1 rate. In both cases the hotel did not offer anything . I would not expect anything from an IC property as they normally provide upgrade to Ambassador / RA members only and would also exclude HolidayInnExpress from my expectations as there is normally only one type of rooms available. However, I experienced no use of Plat level at Holiday Inn.

May be it would be a good idea to share everyone's life experience of what proved to be an efficient way of getting anything including Uprage from the hotel of Indigo, HolidayInn, CrownePlaza brands?
