Help needed: can I skip 1 flight segment for better price?
Dear all,

I'm looking to travel YYZ-LEJ roundtrip to spend 3 wks working at Leipzig, Germany (1/2/10-1/23/10). Right now RT cost $1800 T+ (L class)!!! But when I search around I found SFO-YYZ-LEJ RT only cost $1100 (L class). Can I forfeit my SFO-YYZ segments and just board at YYZ outbound and land at YYZ inbound? Both fares were found on aircanada.com.

Otherwise, I'll have to go through the US to get to Leipzig to get a similar airfare.

Help appreciated on this dilemma.
