It's phrases like this that gave us an impression of "attitude". But I expect you'll use the rest of what you wrote and that will be positive.

As for yyzgigi, why not just call an AE customer service rep and explain what happened and at least make your case for the two segments versus the one you got, then fax the supporting docs in. This is a limited time promo, so they should understand and since it was a non-voluntary change, you should get the two segment credits if not also the appropriate mileage for both segments.
