No. I got a letter at check in about lounge priviliges. In that letter it was mentioned about the choice of breakfast. I agree with the hectic atmosphere in the lounge with too much crowd. It was hard to find a table on couple of days. I thought the food was not up to par with Conrad Singapore or Hong Kong.
It looks like there have been some changes there regarding diminution of food quality and liberalization of their breakfast policy. Given the hectic ambience of the lounge, I suppose allowing or encouraging guests to avail themselves of the restaurant for breakfast actually makes a lot of sense. Nevertheless, I never had any trouble finding a table because I learned quite quickly to arrive at the lounge sufficiently early to stake out my turf.
