Now somebody who was gold before and passes 75K there is a gray area. DL (as NW did) gives you status for the rest of this year when you pass a threshold, even though the status is really for next year. In the past what did DL do with PMU's?

I'm guessing the latter is not true, and if so there must be cut of date where you don't get PMU's for the current year, but get them with everybody else for the next year.
For most people, I'd count on 4 PMUs not 6, at least at the start of the year. While DM might not start until later in the year, I haven't seen anything to suggest the 2010 Medallion program won't start as usual March 1, 2010. 2010 Platinums can choose
4 PMUs as one of their choice benefits.
