Did not require my husband's card last year when I used his miles for a ticket for one of the kids; did require their cards this week when I used their miles for tickets for husband, mom and self. Inconsistent enforcement last year(given others' experiences)? New rule?

I liked that AA sent the kids emails (to my account, but AA didn't know that) telling them that someone else had used miles from their accounts.
