I had just posted ths question on the "AA will add ability to enter birth date" thread and now the bells are going off in my head. I remember thinking it was funny that I could pay big bucks to AA for a paid ticket without my CC matching my AAdvantage account name, but I couldn't pay the $10 nusiance fee when I book with miles.

So now I need to decide whether to muddle thru with only a first initial in my AAdvantage account or get a new credit card that includes my first name. I am not sure Citi will issue a new card for the same person but with a different version of my name, so this probably won't be an excuse to churn a Citi card. -- Suzanne
