For a honeymoon, I would definitely stay at The Peninsula, where the service is far superior to the IC. If you stay in the newer tower, you get the same extraordinary views as you do at the IC - only higher, which is even better, so make sure you opt for a high floor at The Pen.

In Bali, the IC is a huge ugly resort, whereas FS Jimbaran is more of the place. You also get your own plunge pool, which has to be a romantic option.

If it were me, though, I would stay at one or two of the Amanresorts, which are much more beautiful, more personalised and more romantic. Maybe 3 nights at Amanusa, then a week at Amankila. No fear of party land here!
