Ok guys, I need a little advice regarding potential hotels for my honeymoon.

Proposed Itinary is 5 days hong Kong & 10 days Bali.

My initial plan was intercontinental Hong Kong (Habour Suite) & Bali (Club Duplex or perhaps Balinese Suite or Uluwatu Suite)
Main reason for this is to take advantage of Royal Ambassador Status and of course the rumoured views from the IC HK.

I am however wondering if the Peninsula is a worthy alternative to the IC. Obviously it has more history associated and a beautiful building however I am worried about the "raffles effect" i.e masses of tourists swarming in and out. E&O penang is similar in this respect.

In Bali, I've heard that the 4S and the IC club suites are on a similar footing. Is there truth in this or would the 4S be a better choice. I've struggled to convince Mrs Hoggig to visit Bali as she is apprehensive of the "party scene" I'd hate to validate her fears with a wrong choice.

My final cry for help is for some special recommendations for eating.
We are real big fans of asian Cusine and feel just as comfortable eating on Petaling street or at hawkers stalls as we do in fine restaurants.

What are the must eat restaurants in HK & bali?
