As we are all acutely aware, family, work and then FlyerTalk is often on the minds of our members. Both family and work as priorities can rearrange the amount of time we have available to roam FlyerTalk. I'd like to thank berlinflyer who has been a great voice and partner of FlyerTalk for its members in his duties as a member of our elected TalkBoard. He has made a decision to resign both his role as a moderator and as a member of the TalkBoard so that he can give his work and his family the time they both deserve. He will remain a member of FlyerTalk and says that while his time is limited right now with many projects going on, we'll still see his posts from time to time. We all admire members whose priorities are in the right order and there is no doubt that this is the right and best decision for him.

Thanks berlinflyer for your many special efforts in giving back to FlyerTalk and here's to your great family. We'll see you online when you have the time.

NOW, according to the generally accepted rules of the TalkBoard, the replacement for berlinflyer will be the member with the next highest vote in the last election. That will be Markie. I have traded PM/email with Markie and he is extremely proud and pleased to be able to give back to FlyerTalk in this manner and has accepted the position to join the TalkBoard.
