Im not sure what your frame of reference is, but it is worth noting that the FS SIN is still superior to the majority of FS North American properties in that the exec suites at SIN at least have a separate shower & tub and double sinks.
I don't think any of the current FS properties in Asia will come any close to the FS Hong Kong. But if the FS SIN is at least 60% as good, it might be worth a try ( since it cost only half as much

). Basically, what I want (expect) is a nice clean room, nice room amenities, efficient service and a great breakfast.
I actually tried out a St Regis suite last year and it's really good ( though agree food can be better esp breakfast ) but getting a bit jittery after reading a flood of negative reviews recently in FT. Seems standard has fallen drastically if true.
