With a high traffic route, EWR/SFO, flight at F3 (A319) 4 days out, UA is not releasing any upgrades -- not even for elites. Both non-stops for Saturday are NF0. It is very likely UA will selling additional F seats in the next few days so it would be bad business to release the upgrades. The OP is on the waitlist, the problem will be the waitlist at the gate is sort by passenger status.
