I found out on my last day in the hotel (when the elevator stopped there) that there's a dedicated Diamond Floor. I'm not sure if there's anything special about it, but it's a slap in the face to find out that I didn't get a suite (which I wasn't expecting), didn't get the Executive Floor, and didn't even get the Diamond Floor.

When the stay posted, it didn't include the 1000 bonus points that they offered when I checked in.
I'm thoroughly unimpressed.
Yep, this is the kind of experience I've had as well and I've stayed there at least 6 times this year... it's close to the office, so very convenient for me
* I've been charged the water as well, so I generally don't take the water out on the last day there, otherwise they will charge my credit card afterwards. it has happened to me and I have contested it with my cc company and the cc (not Hilton) ended up just removing it.
* there is nothing special about diamond floors... maybe it has a LCD instead of a tube TV, but otherwise, it's the same...
* I usually don't take the 1000 bonus points because if they don't give it to me, it is a hassle to chase them... again, it happens to me once so I stick to the free internet...
I've stayed at the HGI Time Square and it is ok... but it's a bit of a walk to the office and has no gym... but the free breakfast is MUCH BETTER than the madhouse lounge @ Hilton NY
