I'm not flying with a laptop, but I'd love to be able to use my iPhone 3G, and I still haven't found a way to do it. I bought the boxwave kit last year, and my phone detected a power source, but wouldn't let me charge-- some "non-compatible" message. I'm not too price sensitive here, but very size-sensitive, so I'd rather not have a major kit to haul around Europe with me. Does anyone have a product they like that works specifically with both Empower and an iPhone 3G? I'd be happy with just a plug that fits on the end of my normal iPhone charger or a cord that goes directly from my iPhone into the empower port. Thanks a lot,

Honestly, I think you'll be best off buying an external battery pack for the iPhone. Something like this :http://www.frys.com/product/5891703?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I haven't tried that one in particular, but there are plenty of options to choose from, and that will guarantee you enough power for the SFO-FRA flight with room to spare.
