I used to run a training exercise for airport staff, at which we used a fictious airport 'London York' - only 2 hours from London!

It's starting to look not quite so far-fetched

The difference is that all of the current 'London' airports are classifed by that as the CAA in their airport traffic statistics. Oxford is not included in that grouping.
