I ordered currency on Avis/Travelex in early July and although the miles didn't show on the final confirmation page, the Travelex desk in the South Lounge complex swiped my card without comment. They even added the triple miles for the promotion that was running at the time.
If staff process your order correctly when you go to collect it, it
is possible for them to add miles.
However, they
should only add them if the order form that they have shows your BAEC number. If you forgot to insert your BAEC onto the eligible order, the staff member will usually overlook this rule and credit the miles anyway.
