It required some 'enthusiastic debate' at T4, but after repeated claims of impossibility, the teller agreed to swipe my card against the last transaction in her till. Net result: considerably more miles than I deserve, cashback, a price promise cheque to look forward to, and the scars from a thousand dagger stares from those behind me in the queue.
I am certain that that is not the sort of thing of which to be proud or to encourage others to pursue. The poor people at T4 were correct - orders made through travelex.co.uk are ineligible for BA miles.
You deserved far more than dagger stares from those behind you and I am sure would have received it too if they knew that you were in the wrong and were merely acting out of pure greed.
