I recently was at a HI that was serving those egg patties. A guy with 5 of them on his plate kept telling his companion how terrible they were,but he never stopped eating them.It reminded me of the old joke: First person says "The food at this place is really terrible". And the other one says: "Yeah, I know. And such small portions."
