Not that I can think of.
When I OLCI, I got seat in Y. Went to the airport, got a new boarding pass with 01K, and then, at the gate 18J. The time that passed between opup and opuped-downed was 1 hour (1:20 hours before departure, and 0:20 before departure), so I find it very hard to believe that suddenly someone bought a new C ticket.
I am sure the plane was filled with super elites, elites, and probably even *G. But it was also filled with them when I got the opup as well (my guess is that I was the "highest" ranking out of all the single travellers out there).
Lastly, checked now, and somehow AC decided to change my booking class to Y (used to be K), meaning something in their system really gone wrong.
