Why paper voucher instead of evoucher?
I canceled one leg of a round trip. I have a refund coming. it is coming to me in a paper voucher in the US mail instead of an eVoucher that I could actually use on aa.com. Has this happened to anyone else? (The stickies never really got around to speaking to this issue)
The answer I got (from a supervisor) was that ticket dept refunds had to be paper while "Tulsa" refunds, whatever they are, come as eVouchers. Could anyone shed any light on this?
I thought we were beyond the days of paper things and the US Mail. Now I have to either phone to ticket and mail the voucher back to them or ticket at an airport ticket counter, while neither are exactly hardships, it seems contrary to their desire to drive everything they possibly can to aa.com
Thanks,
