Base Wyndham members get free internet/free long distance. Something Hilton should consider. Hilton has generally had the worst local phone pricing.

I got sick of the phone charges so I got a cell phone that has data options. Both Sprint and Verizon offer unlimited data services for $80/month.

That's kinda steep so I just bought a 3rd party data cable for my Sprint phone, signed up for Vision at an extra $10/mo or so. For sprint, this is somewhat bending the rules but they don't seem to care unless you try to use this as your primary ISP.

For dialing up and getting your mail, this almost always works better than dialup.
