I have a 5 night stay booked at a MR Resort property that has a 3 day cancellation notice policy. The stay will be for $$$, not an award stay. The cancellation policy on the res reads:

"You may cancel your reservation for no charge until 3 day[s] before arrival.

Please note that we will assess a fee of 232.65 USD if you must cancel after this deadline."

I'm thinking that I might only stay for the first 3 nights out of 5. However, I don't know when I'll know what my plans are for a check out date. I may know before I check in, or I might not know until the 3rd morning.

Anyone have experience with checking out early with a long cancellation notice policy?
