I agree -the same has always struck me with the liquids over 100ml ban. Surely a determined terrorist could find a way 'round this? Like five of them going, each taking 100ml to make 500ml and then simply purchasing a bottle of water from Boots and emptying it...
I do wonder if sometimes they ban things just for reassurance. Maybe it does deter terrorists -who knows?
My understanding is that you were looking at larger bottles of liquid (1.5L /2.0L) . I also think it extremely difficult to get the right concentrations with multiple small bottles.
