I had the opportunity to stay at the Hampton Inn Carlstadt/Meadowlands and wanted to provide a trip report.

This has got to be the best HI that I have ever stayed in. Rooms were nothing spectacular, just the normal HI kind.

But the price for NYC is awesome! Rates $70-$90 which is awesome for the NYC area midweek. They are located almost adjacent to the Meadowlands, have a bus stop right outside the propperty that costs $2.80 and takes you to the Port Authority bus terminal. Parking is free and they have the best HI breakfast buffet I have had to date...even an omelette station is you can believe it!

Anyone looking for a good value and heading to NYC, this property is worth checking out.
