Sheraton PVR is available for my dates (8/25-29) for $125/night, with 4th night free (translates to US$93/nt) with $200 F&B credit to use up. That seems like a great deal.
Holiday Inn PVR is available thru 1800 Hotels for US$93 all-inclusive, but since I don't drink much and food is so cheap in Mexico, I think staying at the Sheraton, getting stay credit, AND the Plat upgrade might be worth it. I think the Sheraton is walkable to Centro PVR? If so, then it's a slam dunk for me, since I'm less of a beach person.
