Comments on seat 1A in BE on the B777-200ER: Had 1A both ways, thanks to recommendations on here and on Seatguru. Light from galley during flight is very bothersome, brighter then most seats. Also, the pilot crew rest door is located right next to these seats, and often the door is slammed, by accident, by the pilots during flight. This caused me and my seat mate to wake up a few times during flight. I agree it is a great seat otherwise, the space between the wall and the seat was PERFECT for keeping all of my carryon’s stored down with me the entire flight. I had my computer between the seat and the wall and grabbed it when I wanted to. I even left it plugged in to stay charging, it was never in my way. Would I recommend this seat? Yes, but not to a very light sleeper.
