Excellent point, MikeMpls. I checked, and my CRC card expires at the end of Dec 2009, and my SkyMiles card expires end of Feb 2010. So there will be a 2 month gap in SkyClub membership if I choose the miles instead.

I think I am not willing to trust that they will add the unused portion to my membership when it expires, so I will probably take the miles and live with the gap in membership.
