Your chances were pretty close to zero anyways, so they didn't decrease all that much. CO does not provide free upgrades to the front cabin on the IAH-HNL route. You can try for the REVUP on the day of departure if you don't mind spending a few hundred dollars for the seat.

As for the seating chart, it is most certainly not the full story. The fact that CO is still selling the very discounted fares suggests that the flight isn't full yet, though stranger things have happened.

And we generally refer to the Economy cabin as "Y" not "E."
