Based on this thread, I think we're going to stay at the Doubletree instead of the Caribe Hilton. The Doubletree said they are about four blocks from Ocean Beach -- is that one of the gay beaches?

Also, do you know if the ocean is good for exercise swimming around there? (The Doubletree's pool is very small I think).
