No need to fret, if'n you didn't get an email or mailing. Call Citi, say you want to cancel your card, get transferred to an account retension specialist, wheel and deal, one option being double miles on purchases for the next x months.
Full disclosure: I'm on an Citi/AAdvantage Amex double [stick out tongue] American Airlines AAdvantage miles on "select" purchases until 11/30/09 from a mid-June mailing. Could have just as easily negotiated same with Citi without their mailing, or without my calling to cancel the card. Hello. Pick up the phone, and call. They (Citi) don't bite.
