I have a quick question.

I rented a car with hertz, and brought it back with same gas and in the same condition.

only thing I took apart the key chain, but I brought all pieces: 2 keys and the label, so nothing was missing.
the rep was kinda pissed, kept repeating that there is a reason why there is a chain that keeps them together. but would not say what is the reason.

I was not aware I did something wrong,
I separated the 2 keys, the whole thing just would not fit in my pocket,

any comments would be appreciated
