I'm about to book my parents a Delta award but was unclear on the exact baggage allowance policy.

The reservation will go like this CLE-YUL (CO in economy since it's one-class) YUL-CDG-DAM (AF business). They have no status.

CO's website says 3 bags for F/J but it also says "Ticket must reflect confirmed seat for segment in which customer is checking in"

AF's website says only 2 bags for J - but they will be checking in with CO.

I called and she put me on hold for a while and came back with 3 bags answer, but just wanted to confirm here so that my parents aren't forced to pay hundreds in fees.
